We have been informed that fraudulent emails (phishing) are being sent where the sender pretends to represent Charge Amps AB.
These emails are not sent by Charge Amps.
The messages have been sent to installers, partners, and other contacts and request financial information, such as details about invoices or outstanding payments.
The purpose of these emails is to trick recipients into sharing sensitive information.
What do these fake emails look like?
The fraudulent emails may contain wording related to financial reviews or invoices.
Examples of content found in these emails include:
Requests for lists of open invoices or outstanding payments
Questions about invoice amounts or payment dates
Instructions to pause payments
A sender claiming to represent Charge Amps
These emails may be designed to look like they were sent by Charge Amps, but they are not.
Important information
Charge Amps does not send emails requesting customers or installers to provide financial information, such as lists of invoices or payment details.
All official emails from Charge Amps are sent from addresses that end with @charge-amps.com.
If you receive an email claiming to be from Charge Amps but the sender’s address does not end with @charge-amps.com, it is likely a phishing attempt.
What should you do if you receive such an email?
If you receive a suspicious email, we recommend that you:
• Do not reply to the email
• Do not click on links or open attachments
• Do not share any information
• Delete the email
